Children's Bread

    This teaching is about the giants who have risen up in this land, who they are, and how to overcome them. Allow me to share with you a true story, an example that will help us to understand what must happen in order for us to conquer these giants. There was once a group of people called Hebrews in the land of Egypt. They were considered slaves, and treated harshly by the Egyptian government. Our Father in Heaven heard their cries, and He felt their pain. The day came when He commissioned a man by the name of Moses, to lead the Hebrew children out of the land of slavery, into a land of freedom. A door of escape was presented to them, and one night they made a great exit out of the land of slavery(Egypt), into what would become a grand caravan, called the exodus. They were invited to go from slavery to a land of freedom. This relates to our journey, a process that leads us from slavery, to an inheritance of promise. (Note: The inheritance of promise consists of an outpouring of Heavenly power, and love that enters into your body. This is the second-birth). This journey starts with conception, and ends with a birthing experience of great power, and love. There's one ingredient of great importance that is a must, in order for us to get to the birthing room of promise safely.

                        Obedience!!

    This ingredient called obedience is what defines the children of promise (of the free-woman), versus the children of the slave-woman. Without obedience, you remain a child of slavery. These are called the children of disobedience. Remember the wide gate and the strait gate? This example came from our big Brother, Jesus. He gave us this example to help us to understand that many would stumble (disobey) at His requirements, and enter the wide gate that leads to disaster, while a few would obey, and enter into the strait gate that leads to an outpouring of life. Not long after the Hebrew children came out of slavery, they approached a mountain called Sinai. Our Father chose this mountain to manifest who He was, to reveal His great force to the Hebrew children. They ran away from Him, due to fear, and they made a comment that deserves our attention.

                     "Lest We Die"!

     Remember the strait gate and the wide gate. This comment they made about dying helps us to see why many enter the wide gate over the strait gate. Mount Sinai is where the power of our Father, and His word, was revealed. How does this relate to us today? Much in every way. We will not be contenders in this great journey to the Promise, unless we die. We can't be students of Life, without dying first. This is called "the cross". What is the cross? The cross, in modern terminology, would be the electric chair, gas chamber, or lethal injection. As in the days of Jesus, the cross represented capital punishment. One of the top requirements for us to to become students of Life, is to be willing to put our "old nature" on death row. O beloved! Remember how we hated our lives at the time salvation was presented to us? We were willing to put our "old nature" on death row in exchange for a "new nature"! Now we understand why we were put in a position of hating our current life. This was the catalyst that qualified us for a "NEW LIFE"! So when we put our "old nature" on death row, we became qualified for a "lethal injection". This, my beloved, is the outpouring of ETERNAL LIFE(the Promise) into our bodies. This "lethal injection" of power and love  from our Father in Heaven put to death our "old nature", and made us free from being slaves to our "old habits"! This is why we glory in the cross! This is the day we gave up our "old limited life" for a life that's eternal. We became witnesses of this eternal life, due to an "injection" that filled us to overflowing! This was the day our "giant(s)" were eliminated! The strait gate entrance requires a death sentence, in order to receive the "lethal injection" of life. However, there is another gate, and the many who were seduced into entering this gate, have become our adversary.

   Beware of wide gate teachers (False Teachers)!

     Back to the Hebrew children, this was what they were confronted with that day. They were facing death in order to be in a relationship with an all powerful God of the universe! Our big Brother shows up years later with the same message. We know it as the message of the cross. We hated our lives, we put our lives on death row, we have received a lethal injection of eternal life, and have become the sheep (the elect) that never perish. However, these wide gate teachers, with their teachings, have eliminated the cross. Let's take a look. There are 3 things that must happen in order for us to become qualified students of life. You must be willing to lose your family, your wealth, (this includes property and possessions), and the selfish desires of your natural life. Word of truth: Lethal injections are for those on death row. We have come to understand why these requirements must be met. Failure to obey these requirements will eventually lead to destruction.  Example: my parents, and family, (Amish) didn't agree with me on the strictness of these requirements I just mentioned, and had I not fully committed myself to be obedient to these requirements of Jesus, I too, like many others, would have eventually aborted the journey that led to the Promise (injection of life). Remember, many are invited, but only a few are the chosen! All the Hebrew children were invited to receive the promise. Only a few had the confidence that eliminates the giants! (explain later). Can I take the credit for this. God forbid! He knows how, and allows, His predestined children whom He foreknew, to come to a place of defeat, a place of nothingness, even to the point of hating our own life, in order for us to become qualified to enter the strait gate that leads to life. Of a truth, within a year after entering the strait gate, I received the Promise. (A lethal injection of Heavenly power, and love, that completely buried my old nature). Wide gate (false) teachers teach that you receive this after you physically die. I speak on behalf of the children of promise. This takes place now! We have endured the journey, and received the promise that eliminates the giants! The Hebrew children were invited to receive this same promise ever before they physically died. However, the day would come when they became "blotted out" from the land of the living (the promise). All because of not obeying, and refusing to die to the power of His word! They lusted after things, and became distracted. Remember the requirements? This was preparation for us, so that we may endure the journey that was before us. Jesus gave us a parable, to illustrate this very thing. A certain man prepared a "great supper", and invited many. At supper time, the invited ones started to make excuses, and asking to be excused from this great supper. He mentions 3 things that had caused them to become distracted, and forfeit the greatest supper ever! Property, possessions, and marriage. (Word of truth: Wealth and marriage has caused many to abort their journey of promise!) The certain man who prepared the "great supper" (the promise), became angry, and would eventually blot out the many whom he had originally invited, so that none would ever taste of his supper. O beloved, obedience is of great importance!  As in the Olympics, a competitor is not crowned, unless he obeys the rules. Even so, we, the children of promise, know the importance of obeying the rules of the road that leads to a crown of life (the promise). When the time came for the Hebrew children to enter into the promised land, one thing they lacked which would eventually  seal their fate.

                       Confidence!

     They were in lack of confidence. Another word that describes confidence is faith. A word that describes lack of confidence is unbelief.  Moses sent 12 spies to check out the land of promise. Only 2 returned with confidence, that their God, who invited them to enter into (receive) the promise, would eventually eliminate the giants that resided there. While the giants stripped the 10 spies of their confidence, with the rest of the 1st generation of Hebrew children, the 2, Joshua and Caleb by name, maintained their confidence, and would become leaders of the 2nd generation, to guide them into the promised land, and eliminate the giants that lived there. Word of truth: We, the children of  promise, will eventually grow up to be giant killers! Even as David and Goliath. The children of Israel were intimidated by his remarks, and were stripped of their confidence. But David's confidence was built by communing with the God of promise, and therefore his confidence endured, despite the accusations from his own kinfolk.

                Who are these giants?

     Giants are denominations who have risen up, and refuse to submit to the curriculum that leads to a lethal injection of a Greater Force that knits all the members together into one body.  Hosea 8:14 will help us to identify these giants, along with many other verses recorded in the Bible. It says that Israel has forgotten (stopped paying attention to) their Maker, and went about building temples. The original plan for Israel was 12 tribes coming together under one roof (the temple)! A similar point of interest is found in chapter 2 of the letter to the Colossians. The apostle is warning the Colossians about these uncircumcised giants, on how they do not hold the Head who lethally injects you with power, and love, that truly circumcises your heart, and knits together. They go about trying to circumcise themselves with their  hands, (handwritings and ordinances), and after they seduce you into membership, they will strip you of your reward of confidence, and replace it with a false humility. How is this accomplished?

                       Intimidation!

     Dearly beloved, this is something we had to overcome in order to eliminate giants. 2 things come to mind when I think about the taunting remarks that come from these giants (members of giants). The first one is "unteachable". This accusation comes from a lack of understanding the truth. We have been predestined by our Father in Heaven to become His children, and are given the privilege to have direct access to Him by the Spirit of the Firstborn, Jesus. Even as beloved John writes, and warns us, in his letter, once again about divisions, seduction, and confidence. He reassures us by reminding us, that we have received a special endowment, a special impartation of divine influence, chrisma, inspired by a Greater Force that knows all things, and we have no need for a man to teach us. Since John was warning us about seduction, tells us that these giants, and their members, will try to convince us that we lack, and are in need of a man to teach us. Word of truth: Our Father knows when to distribute into our hearts timely knowledge. Let patience perform its work of perfection in your heart. Be patient, beloved. Be patient! We are selective on how, and what, we hear. Our confidence is built on hearing the inspired Word. First the vertical relation, and then the horizontal. We won't allow this to be reversed. Therefore we are labeled as "unteachable". The second accusation is proud, or arrogant. Dearly beloved, don't be surprised if your confidence is considered as arrogance. Lack of understanding is once again the culprit. We must be willing to bear the reproach of being confident. Faith is confident. We didn't choose to elevate ourselves. We hated our lives to the point of despair when we first received the invitation to become elevated. We know true humility. Humble yourself in His sight, and He will elevate you. Since our Father has accounted us as worthy, He elevated us, and given to us the power, the right, the privilege, the authority, the knowledge, of sons and daughters, should we not be willing to bear the accusations of those who lack understanding. Remember David, when confronting the giant. His confidence was misunderstood as arrogance. Be encouraged, beloved of the Father, and don't allow man to steal your reward of confidence. I'm aware of the giants of Amish and Mennonite, among many others. These choices enter into a city, and divide it to the point of making a mockery of what Jesus, the Head actually accomplished. These are enemies of death row, powerless forms of godliness, they have their own theater, their on showtimes, and they invite you to be a part of their act. Remember beloved, we are the children of promise, growing up to adulthood, receiving the perfect knowledge of sonship, and coming to the understanding that we are not to become (stay) members of these giants. We are born to face them head on, to reveal their folly, and to eliminate them with the marvelous light of wisdom and true knowledge. Remain confident by divine inspiration, dearly beloved!
